This Easter, Kermandie are getting ready to roll out the welcome carpet and greet you with open arms!
We have various accommodation available throughout our property. Whether you are a couple looking for a beautiful night away in our Heritage style rooms, or perhaps a family looking for adventure and in need of a ‘home base’ in our Two Bedroom Family Units – we have you covered.
The beginning of April is a special time to visit the Huon Valley. The weather is just starting to cool down (especially the evenings) which is ideal for those escaping the warm spells that have been occurring on the mainland. Our Heritage style rooms have a Guest Lounge with an open fire, ideal for these cooler evenings.
The leaves on the trees have just started to turn, which means you are going to witness some superb orange, red and amber hues. And, you may just catch a glimpse of a Robin Red Breast – which is our first sign that winter is definitely on it’s way. We can still have some beautiful sunny days, sometimes without a cloud in the sky.
If you are coming from interstate – remember to bring a warm jacket or jumper. Or, pick one up from the Geeveston Town Hall Visitor Centre. They have a great variety and you get to take a piece of the Huon Valley home with you. There are also numerous timber gift ideas crafted by local artisans using local varieties of timber. You can find some delicious Huon Valley produce – well worth a visit!
Good Friday we have Seafood Specials for both Lunch and Dinner across our venue. You can dine in our Bar for Lunch & Dinner or in our esperance Restaurant for Dinner. Our specials include:
ENTREE
- Salad of Prawn, Chargrilled local peach, Goat’s Cheese and local leaves with truffle vinaigrette
- Kingfish ceviche with coconut, avocado & cucumber
MAIN
- Baked Whole Baby Rainbow Trout with tomato & lemon served on jasmine rice
- 1/2 Crayfish baked with garlic & lime butter served with garden salad & chips
DESSERT
- Chocolate Hazelnut tart with housemade vanilla bean ice cream
Our full menus for the Bar and esperance Restaurant are also available throughout our Lunch and Dinner service.
We even have Breakfast covered throughout the Easter long weekend. We will be open for Good Friday Breakfast, Saturday, Easter Sunday and Monday. Breakfast will be available from 8am – 10:30am each day. The best part is kids under 12 years of age eat breakfast free over the whole Easter Long Weekend!
